HOSPICE BY THE SEA’S 20TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION November 8, 2010 Hospice by the Sea’s 20th Annual Celebration Draws Record Attendance“I’m having the time of my life.” “Everything is absolutely beautiful.” “This is such a warm, wonderful and magical evening.” “This is always the best party of the year.” Accolades and rave reviews were on everyone’s lips at Hospice by the Sea Inc.’s annual signature event “Celebration by the Sea.” More than 500 guests attended the sold-out event, held Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the exclusive Delray Beach Club. Ocean breezes and a dreamy full moon set the scene for this year’s “Celebration,” which has become one of the most popular social events of the season. Guests and supporters of Hospice by the Sea dined, mingled and danced the night away to live music performed in the Club’s elegant Ocean Room, as well as by the pool, where saxophonist Will Bridges and his 5-piece band electrified the crowd with high-energy tunes that kept the dance floor filled. |

The tropically-themed event featured a free-flowing selection of mouthwatering appetizers, delectable entrees, fresh sushi and exquisite desserts created by the Delray Beach Club’s talented Executive Chef, Jason Miranda. Guests also enjoyed a wide variety of cocktails, spirits and fine wines from across the globe, courtesy of premier event sponsor ABC Fine Wines & Spirits. One of the highlights of the evening was the premier silent auction featuring more than 40 desirable gifts, treasures, collectibles and exciting vacation getaways, including the showcase item: a fabulous 12-night Mediterranean cruise for two with airfare, courtesy of Celebrity Cruises and Boca Raton Travel & Cruises. Enthusiastic guests stayed until the event ended, seemingly reluctant to leave such a wonderful evening. To help them preserve their memories, guests also received commemorative photographs taken by acclaimed photographer Jeffrey Tholl. Paula J.
